This is an excavation method that consists in making a first pilot borehole in a heading direction and when it arrives at the destination point proceeding in the opposite direction, collecting the drill string to which a larger sized cutting head has been attached and enlarging the borehole's diameter by reaming. One or various cycles are carried out until the predicted diameter has been obtained.
