This is a group of tools that are driven by hammers, normally at the head, which carry out the interior drilling work and borehole drilling for blastings. They normally have a head adaptor, an integral drilling bit or a cluster of bars fitted by sockets or connections, and a drilling nozzle screwed to the final bar or as pads or button type end parts of the integral drilling bits, with or without special finishes for reversing or reaming.
