The charge means the insertion of explosive material into the borehole, adjusting the cartridges to the walls for which stems, that are lengthwise opening (in an omega) PVC tubes into which the explosives and the detonating cord are inserted (they include the non-electrical detonator's primer which is positioned towards the bottom of the borehole) can be used, allowing the correct introduction of the explosives and detonating cord into the hole. Stemming means closing or stopping the hole with very plastic clay cartridges to stop the explosive force from being lost through the mouth.
