Portland cement

Portland cement is a hydraulic binder whose main property is forming resistant and long-lasting putties for stone when mixed with aggregate and water. It is the cement that is obtained from grinding together its clinker (calcination of the unrefined product in rotator ovens) with the adequate amount of setting regulator. Cements: are conglomerates that when mixed with water, set and harden either out in the open air or submerged in water, as their hydration products are stable in such conditions.
