Multilayer spraying

This superficial dressing consists in repeating the application process of a bituminous product followed by the addition of chippings and subsequently being compacted. The aggregate grading is digressive from the bottom layer up. In other words, the chippings of the first spraying are larger than those of the second, and so on. The type of dressing most used is the double surface dressing made from two successive applications.
