Mastic asphalt

A mixture of bitumen and mineral elements made with a dosage that eases its hot or cold spreading so that a smooth surface is achieved after being compacted with a trowel. It is used when the asphalt surface's finish needs to have a homogenous appearance. The mastic's degree of viscosity is achieved by adding crushed sand.
