A network of roads that allows one road to connect with another near a crossing at different levels.
An area were two or more roads cross at a different level which includes the decks that vehicles can use to make all necessary moves for changing from one road to another. They can be free moving when any of the interchange movements are controlled by restriction or stop signs, when the interchange of vehicles is made without any restriction whatsoever by any type of traffic control or with a stop status (link road design recommendations - MPW 1968).
