This is the combination of aggregates with a bituminous binder for which the aggregates have to be heated beforehand. The binder will have to be heated or not, depending on its original viscosity in relation with that required for it to be mixed with the aggregates. The mixture is spread and compacted at a higher than atmospheric temperature.
