Wood sheet

Each of the layers that make up a structural element of glued laminated wood. A layer or sheet of wood is formed by boards of sawn wood, usually of the same tree species and of the same resistant class, spliced end-to-end, by glued toothed joints and, where appropriate, also laterally so that each sheet covers all the width and length of the corresponding layer of the structural element. This arrangement guarantees that the direction of the fiber of the tables corresponds, constantly, with the direction of the guideline of the wood sheet.
