V-funnel test

The execution of a test to determine the consistency of the concrete being used, by means of measurement of the loss of height or settlement produced when the V-funnel filled with fresh concrete is removed. The following sequence should be followed: - Place the mould on a horizontal surface, fill it with layers equal to 1/3 of its capacity, and compact them. - Remove the funnel with an upward movement. - Measure the height of settlement, calculating the difference between the height of the mould and that of the concrete.
