Mixer use

When using mixers (machinery for mixing the components of the concrete), it is important to control the massing time, which will depend on features of the mixer and the consistency of the concrete. A correct mixer-mass is achieved when the whole of the concrete mixture is homogenous, with the same texture and colour. It is becoming less and less common to use mixers on the job, given that it is becoming increasingly common to employ concrete prepared off-site.
