The creation of column ties or stirrups by means of measurement, cutting and bending of steel bars. The following is required:
- Calculation of the material necessary for the execution of the column ties or stirrups.
- Measurement of steel bars in accordance with the technical specifications.
- Application of the appropriate cutting techniques, in accordance with the types of steel and bar diameters.
- Appropriate shaping of the bars.
The operation may be mechanical or manual.
