Concrete rolling

A method of compacting concrete consisting of subjecting it to repeated ramming. Generally speaking, it is advisable to arrange the concrete in layers of 15 to 20 cm, ramming the surface until the excess of the mass flows back. It is a system usually employed in low-thickness structures with low-level reinforcement, and a big horizontal surface, as well as in concretes of dry and plastic consistency, as in the case of flooring, in certain continuous footings and concrete walls with low reinforcement.
