Concrete

Product obtained by mixing a bonding agent, a dry aggregate (sand), a thick aggregate (gravel) and water, which, once it has set, is used in building structures for covering enclosures, in finishes and in the conduits of facilities. It may have one of two forms: fresh concrete (unset), or hard concrete (set). It is used in the following formats: - Amassed concrete: material with low tensile strength. - Reinforced concrete: incorporates a framework of steel rods to the mass of concrete. - Pre-stressed concrete: the reinforcements become tensed.
