Rabbet

This is a construction element similar to partitions, and which is generally part of them. It is used to level projections in the partitions, caused by their connection to pillars or installations, and appears as a type of low-thickness pilaster, generally executed using single-air ceramic bricks, which are normally laid with plaster paste and then covered, first by plastering and then by a gypsum finish. It does not have a structural use and should not be affected by structural movements.
