Partition wall

A construction element used to form the interior partitions of the damp areas of a building (due to the need to execute chases for installations), or in divisions between rooms used for different purposes. It is a wall made by ceramic double air bricks, laid with cement mortar, in the case of partitions for the humid areas of a building, and on which a diaper is fitted. For other types of divisions, plaster paste and plasterwork is employed. As with partitions, they do not have a structural function and should not be affected by structural movements.
