This is the person or team belonging to an accredited quality audit organisation with adequate knowledge of the sectors and fields subject to audit, including knowledge and experience of technical aspects, quality management and the appropriate standards. They should have sufficient training and capacity to achieve the set objectives and be sufficiently independent of the activities subject to audit, to be able to issue an objective report.
