Stress

Stress is the human body's answer to threatening or defiant situations. Life and its forever changing surroundings demands constant adaptations. A certain amount of stress is therefore necessary and sometimes, even beneficial. Stress can be harmful when, in trying to dominate the stressful situation, one runs the danger of exceeding the resorts of the person affronting the stress or problems and he/she is not capable of adapting to the new situation, a time when the person could be physically, psychologically and/or socially affected.
