Responsibility

Responsability exists where there is a non-compliance with obligations laid down in the health and safety regulations and consequentially, injuries for the worker are produced or the conditions under which injuries occur, as a result of a lack of prevention. The employer's non-compliance of their obligations in preventive matter could lead to penal and/or civil administrative liabilities for the damages deriving from this non-compliance. Other subjects can also be responsible for their non-compliance: - Manufacturers, importers and suppliers. - External Prevention Services, audit firms or authorized companies for training workers in health and safety. - Workers to which the employer may take disciplinary action. - Public administration.
