Health and Safety training for construction workers

Construction Collective Agreement provides that employees attached thereto should have a certain health and safety training, depending on their job, profession or duties to perform. - First cycle (Aula Permanente): minimum basic training which aims the person who receives the training to identify the most frecuent risks on site and the measures to implement in order to avoid or minimize them. - Second cycle: specific training on issues and specific rules in relation to the job or profession. In general, it lasts 20 hours. There are also training programs for multipurpose workers It further states that the content of the basic level of prevention, differing from that in Law 31/1995. In case a worker linked to this Collective Agreement has already received health and safety training, there is an official recognition framework. In this context, the instrument that certifies the specific health and safety training received by the worker is the Professional Construction Card (TPC).
