Article 4 of the RD 1627/1997, indicates that the property developer is compelled to carry out a health and safety study in the projects of certain works during their draft phase. The purpose of this study is to avoid and control existing hazards at the works, collecting adequate preventative measures. It contains the following documents: descriptive procedures report, technical equipment and aids, contracting conditions subject to the legal standards and statutories, plans with graphs representing the preventative measures, necessary safety unit or element's measures and the budget that assesses all this expenditure.
