The frequency rate indicatess the number of injuries per 1,000,000 employee-hours worked. For a correct calculation, it should account only those accidents occurring while the worker is exposed to occupational risk, therefore, the commuting accidents or vacation time, sick leave, leave, holidays, etc. are not included
It is recommended to calculate this frecuency rate by sections (accidents with and without leave) to extend monitoring of all accidents.
