Waste

According to law 10/98 waste is ?any substance or object belonging to any of the categories shown in this law's appendix, removed by its holder or who has the intention or obligation of removing'. Besides, those who figure in the European Waste Catalogue (EWC) will be considered as approved by the Community's institutions. The construction business deals with basically inert wastes made up from: earth and aggregate mixtures, stones, concrete remains, asphalt pavement remains, fireproof materials, bricks, glass, plastics, plasters, scrap metals, wood and generally, all the waste that is produced by earthwork and new or substructure building work, as well as waste generated by the demolition or repair of old buildings.
