Accessible mechanisms

Those that meet all the following criteria established in annex A of the CTE (technical code of building) DB SUA (Security basic document of accessibility and utilization). They are located at a height within 80 and 120 cm when it comes to command and control elements, and within 40 and 120 cm when it comes to power supplies. The distance to meetings in a corner is of at least 35 cm. Power switches and alarm push buttons are easily-operated with clenched fist, elbow, and with one hand, either automatic type. They have color contrast with regard to the environment. Thumbs wheels and toggle switches are not admitted. Lighting with timer in accessible toilet cabins and accessible changing room are not admitted.
