A tool for tightening or loosening nuts and bolts.
It works by applying a torque force moment to the end of a bar resting on a point, the tightening key, place on a nut or screw. There are different types:
- Lever: the tightening key is fixed to one of its ends.
- Tubular: a tube at one end of which the tightening key is placed; while at the other end, there is a bar to produce the tightening torque.
- Fluted cylinder: the direction of turning may be altered by the movement of a lever.
