Spreader

A vehicle or accessory used for constructing road foundations, spreading materials over surfaces, including: aggregates, graded aggregates, cement, concrete and hot or cold bituminous materials. - Aggregates: an accessory without its own engine, fixed to a main unit. It consists of: a hopper to collect the aggregates, sluices to regulate the width of spreading and thickness of the layer, and a roller for flattening the aggregate. - Asphalts: self-propelled machine on tracks or tyres. It features a hopper to receive the coated macadam, and devices for transporting and applying asphalt and coated macadam on road surfaces, in the required amounts, and in accordance with the method of working and desired thickness.
