An instrument used to measure the pressure of a fluid within a recipient or a system in a gaseous or liquid state.
Normally, the units measured are: bar, kg/cm2 and atmosphere.
It is usually used to measure the pressure of: oil in engines and hydraulic system, mains water in cooling systems, air in tyres, and in compression systems for moving utensils (hammers, rotary systems, drilling rigs, bolt tighteners, etc.). It also reads the pressure of fuel injected into the engine.
