Equipment for lifting and descending different types of heavy weights, which functions by means of a liquid such as water or oil.
Used in civil engineering and construction, as well as in industrial assembly, to lift up large metal or concrete structures, casing and big pieces. It is employed as an alternative to large cranes, or in places where access to such is restricted and, to a lesser extent, to jack up vehicles for wheel changing.
It functions in accordance with Pascal's law or the capacity of a fluid to transmit pressure in all directions and without alteration.
