Ancillary vehicle

Vehicle normally used to transport technicians, to provide administrative support services for management and for highway maintenance and operations. Usually employed on small jobs, or in support of specialised vehicles. Ancillary vehicles include: administration people-carriers, inspection service and surveillance vans, pick-ups, all-terrain vehicles, etc. Used to meet service requirements, normally with the possibility of attaching accessories to them: snowplough blade, sweeper, flux spreader, mobile works signalling, xenon flashes and arrows. They may sometimes include a trunk for transporting lightweight tools, different signals, flux hopper, etc.
