These consist of a series of medical tests which are used to check that an employee is fit to carry out his/her work.
Certain of the obligations in relation to medical examinations are set out in the General Collective Agreement.
The company will be obliged to carry out a medical examination before commencement of employment, as well as periodic medical examinations, on all workers in their employ, at least once per year.
Following the start of employment examination, employees are free to accept of refuse said periodic medical examinations. However, if the company so wishes, it may require them to sign a non-acceptance form in the case of refusal.
