This is one of the systems of representation used to depict the reality of a plan. It is a metric system and consists of representing any point in space, whose coordinates have been calculated previously, projecting it orthogonally over an arbitrarily chosen reference or comparison plan. In this way, each point of the reality is denoted by plan coordinates, which indicate its level or altitude.
