The Building Assessment Report (IEE) is a document that accredits the situation in which buildings are located, at least in relation to their state of preservation, with compliance with current regulations on universal accessibility, and with the degree of energy efficiency. The urban administration can request it to the owners of real estate located in buildings with a residential typology of collective housing, according to an established schedule. The basic reference regulation is the state, specifically Law 8/2013, of June 26, urban rehabilitation, regeneration, and renewal, published in the BOE no. 153 of June 27, 2013. Without prejudice to this state regulation, which has a basic nature, there may be regional or municipal regulations that develop it.
