Photogammetry

A science in which a plan is produced from photographs taken on land or from the air after previously determining points of the photographed land or facade. There are two types: - Aerial photogammetry: where photographs complying with certain conditions are taken from an aeroplane and used for making topographic plans and maps, after a process of restoration. - Terrestrial photogammetry: in which photographs taken from land are used to obtain plans of building facades, monuments, with a view to their restoration.
