It is the action of positioning in the ground, using topographic instruments and with a pre-established accuracy, elements obtained from blueprints, using the existing bases in the area as a reference. In ground layout, the axis points will be fixed, these corresponding to the cross-sectional profiles, while in the elevation or levelling layout, spot height (red mark) will be noted on each peg. The ground layout is particularly important and several points of the curve outlines must be fixed, as well as the intersection point between each different aligning type.
