Static and dynamic pressure

In a fluid flowing inside a conduit (pipes) there are two types of pressure: static pressure and dynamic pressure. The former is the pressure generated by static fluid and depends on the specific weight and on the height of the fluid level. The higher the readings of these factors, the higher the static pressure exerted. It is expressed by ?Pe?. Dynamic pressure is that which is originated as a consequence of the speed at which it flows through the pipes. It is expressed by ?Pd?.
