Rising pipe

The rising pipe is a vertical tube that moves by means of supports, gaps or big chases and which links the day/night meters to ceiling of the floor it supplies. A valve must be installed at the end of the rising pipe, known as a one-line valve, and which is used to cut off the water in the case of malfunctioning. The diameter of a rising pipe depends on the type of supply, height from the ground to the ceiling being supplied by the pipe, and also on the type of pipe (smooth or uneven).
