Pressure tank

These are hermetic tanks filled with water and pressured air. The separation between the air and the water is achieved by means of a blister or a membrane. An electric pump injects water, pressuring that of the tank. The air is compressed and the water increases in volume and pressure. When a tap is turned on, the air pushes the bladder and the tank acts as a driving mattress, emitting pressurised water. If the pressure and volume of the water descend, the pump will inject or pump water to the water system. They are sold in different sizes and can be vertical or horizontal.
