Pressure-reduction valves

These valves are installed when the network pressure supplied is excessive. They are therefore used to reduce pressure, and can be regulated using a screw if they are not already manufactured to suit this purpose. They are installed with a thread of up to 2? in diameter and with brindle irons of 2? in diameter. They work by means of a spring-type device at the water entry point. Firstly, high pressure overcomes resistance offered by the spring, allowing for low pressure discharge.
