Meter

Meters are apparata linked to the entry pipes of buildings to measure the quantity of water that passes through the pipework. The quantity of water consumed can be measured using a general meter, or by means of day/night meters. Plumbing featuring a general meter is the type used in buildings that do not require metering of water consumed in different parts of the same; for example hotels, offices, etc. In multi-occupancy buildings, supply is metered in units or in terms of users, meaning that it is necessary to install day/night meters, that is to say, one meter per home.
