Day/night meters

If the water is supplied to multiple users, a meter is installed for each user in the building. Said meters are called day/night meters and measure the consumption of each customer. Day/night meters may be distributed throughout the general installation, at the entry point of each user's private installation, or together, in a single room, in which case they are known as centralised day/night meters. The latter are fitted to one or more surfaces, which are also pipes through which the water flows. They act as collector or general pipes, and are referred to as batteries of meters.
