These are apparata which function as heaters to instantaneously provide hot water for sanitary purposes, as well as for heating. They have two ophites, one for domestic hot water (D.H.W.) and the other for heating. The D.H.W. has priority functioning. In other words, if a hot water tap is turned on during the period of heating, the pressure-controlled system of the boiler detects it and cuts off the heating service, rapidly attending to the D.H.W. petition. One-off D.H.W. uses do not alter the comfort index of the heating.
