Some of the systems used for the construction of moulds, depending on the model and the method chosen for its reproduction, are: loam casting, waste mould, moulds in parts, natural mould and adhesive moulds.
Currently, the most used moulds for the reproduction of moulding and decorative elements are silicone or rubber, due to their versatile properties for their successive use. To make them, the rubber is poured over the model of the properly prepared piece. Before using it, the material should have reached the strong consistency required.
