Trowel pointed flooring

Gripping mortar is measured out and made up achieving a uniform and adequate consistency for the type of covering. The levels marked on the facings are checked to ensure that the paving is at the correct height. Check that the reference guides (cords or straight rules) have been set up in accordance with the layout and height required. The flagstones are laid one by one on a bed of mortar and are settled using the handle of a mallet, until the mortar overflows and they are at the height indicated. Verify that each course of flagstones is correctly settled, aligned and levelled with the reference guides, going over the joint's rims and teeth.
