Suspended ceilings

A covering of the lower face of the framework made from sheets of various materials (plaster, gypsum plaster, cork, metal) and suspended by tie rods (strips of esparto, threaded rods, etc), forming an intermediary space between the inner face of the framework and these sheets which is frequently used to accommodate the hanging parts of different facilities.
