Stripping

This process consists of the action of softening old paint so as to facilitate removal. There are two types: - Physical: using strong heat. - Chemical: consisting of the application of chemical products. Manual stripping is also possible. In all painting jobs, correct preparation of the surface is very important. For old surfaces, it is generally necessary to eliminate the remains of old paint so that a good finish can be assured. The cleaning process is called stripping.
