Spreading the mortar

Spreading the mortar on cement mortar rendering is done with a plastering trowel, on lime mortar rendering with a float and on synthetic resin rendering with a stainless steel plastering trowel. On walls, mortar is spread from the top to the bottom, applying the mortar with the tool and pressing so that it embeds in the base, going over the surface as many times as necessary until smooth. The mortar spread on single layer rendering is done by applying the mortar with the plastering trowel or the application machine between the tongues and spreading it with a straight edge.
