Soldering iron for asphalt fabric

The asphalt fabric is spread with the help of a brush or broom after applying the bituminous varnish over the whole clean surface. Heat is applied over the fabric with the help of a lamp or a blowtorch so that the asphalt melts and the asphalt fabric attaches itself to the surface. The asphalt fabric soldering iron consists of a blowtorch with bottles of gas. It is joined to large butane or propane tanks (normally supplied with a getter). Its great outflow allows it to reach high temperatures (1,500ºC).
