This consists in dividing the surface to be covered by applying tongues that are normally for decorative reasons, however, on occasions these are to avoid the mortar of fissuring due to shrinking. In any case, the division is made in wall sections of no more than 10 m squared.
The wooden or plastic tongues are taken off once the rendering has been done and the mortar is dry whilst the metal tongues, used for decorative divisions, are left forming part of the covering.
