Rendering bases

Normally, facings for covering should have a clean, flat and resistant surface. Cement mortar or lime renderings are applied on surfaces that have been roughly plastered beforehand and where the covering has completely set. Except for single layers, those made with synthetic resin mortar, can be made on any completely flat surface which must be cleaned and dampened before cement is applied. Single layer coverings can be made on any surface for rough plastering or that has been roughly plastered beforehand. They are usually made on ceramic surfaces, on concrete blocks or rough cement, always dampening the surface before applying the covering.
