Open joint settling

The settling of open joint stone slabs is made on a layer of mortar. Before positioning, and with the mortar still fresh, cement powder is sprinkled over. The previously dampened clean slabs are then positioned, leaving a separation between them of no less than 4 cm if filled with earth for planting, and 1 cm wide if they are to be left empty.
